Terms of Use

Last updated: 6 November 2026. Effective date: 6 November 2026.

These terms apply to the williamoneil.cn corporate website, operated by 威廉欧奈尔信息科技(上海)有限公司. We are a technology company. The website presents company and technical capabilities, software and related technical information, public materials, download links and an enquiry channel. Read these terms and the Privacy Policy before using the relevant functions.

1. Website scope and technical information

Company, technology, product and service descriptions help you understand the relevant information. Specific functions, delivery scope, licences, charges and support arrangements are governed by the relevant product descriptions and effective agreements. Browsing information or sending an ordinary enquiry does not itself establish a purchase, technical-service engagement, employment or another specific business contract.

Important information can be checked with us through the contact page. These terms do not remove statutory rights concerning truthful information, consumer protection or other mandatory safeguards. Separate software products, technical services, recruitment channels and websites may have their own applicable terms.

2. Intellectual property and lawful use

Text, designs, images, software and marks belong to their respective owners or licensors. Public materials may be browsed or saved to lawfully learn about the company and its technology. Statutory quotation, fair use and other legal rights are not unreasonably restricted.

Commercial copying, distribution, adaptation, licensing or trademark use outside lawful permissions requires the relevant owner's authorisation. Access transfers no intellectual-property ownership or licence to use company or group marks as your own brand. See the trademark notice; specific download licence terms apply where provided.

3. Appropriate website use

Use must comply with applicable law. Do not obtain unauthorised access, evade security or access restrictions, distribute malicious code, disrupt operation, impersonate others, misuse enquiries or infringe intellectual property, privacy or personal-information rights. Unlawful collection, misuse or interference may lead to necessary, reasonable and lawful protective action and legal remedies.

These restrictions do not exclude ordinary browsing, lawful research or quotation, complaints or lawful exercise of personal-information rights.

4. Enquiries, downloads and external websites

Provide a reply address and information you are entitled to submit when making an enquiry. Do not send passwords, complete identity documents, third-party secrets or unrelated sensitive information through ordinary enquiries. Handling is subject to the Privacy Policy and law. Submitting an enquiry does not transfer ownership of that information or authorise unrelated marketing.

An ordinary enquiry does not itself create a specific service engagement or confidentiality agreement, but applicable information-protection, confidentiality and other legal duties continue to apply.

Links may lead to separately operated group or external websites and software or material downloads. Check the actual operator, conditions and privacy information at the relevant entry point. Independent operators are legally responsible for their own services; this does not remove our responsibility for our own website conduct.

5. Operation, maintenance, updates and responsibility

Maintenance, upgrades, faults or legally necessary measures may interrupt or change availability. We take reasonable steps to maintain operation, correct known material errors and give appropriate notice. Reliance on external networks or services does not itself remove applicable duties.

These terms do not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for personal injury, property loss caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence, and applicable personal-information protection duties. Other responsibility is determined under applicable law by reference to fault, causation and the relevant circumstances.

Protective measures addressing unlawful use or misuse remain necessary and proportionate and do not affect lawful rights to complain, obtain remedies or submit a personal-information request.

6. Personal information and consent

The Privacy Policy describes enquiries, security records, language preferences and relevant external-service processing. Accepting these terms or continuing to browse does not replace legally required consent, separate consent or another applicable legal condition. The relevant processing notices and authorisation rules apply when a particular function involves personal information.

Access, correction, deletion and consent-withdrawal requests can be made through Contact Us, stating "Personal information protection request" in the question.

7. Changes, law and disputes

The update and effective dates appear at the top of this page. Significant changes affecting your rights receive reasonable notice, with any renewed notice or consent required by law. Updates do not retrospectively remove accrued statutory rights or responsibility.

The formation, interpretation and application of these terms are based on the laws of mainland China, respecting applicable mandatory rules. A dispute may first be raised through Contact Us. If it cannot be resolved through discussion, proceedings may be brought in a people's court with lawful jurisdiction. These terms do not require waiver of statutory jurisdiction choices, proceedings or other remedies.

An ineffective or invalid provision does not automatically invalidate other lawful provisions. Interpretation must be fair and reasonable under applicable law, not reserved to our unilateral or exclusive final interpretation. These terms are available in Chinese and English; language differences do not diminish your statutory rights.
